The Adamant Furnace is an upgraded furnace added by Telicraft. It smelts items very fast and also has a superheat mode. When active, the furnace will emit particles and it will have flowing lava inside the black bars on the sides.

Please note that right-clicking the furnace with a Flint and Steel will cause it to explode. The same thing happens if the block is destroyed by an explosion.

Because of its speed, the Adamant Furnace must be crafted on an Advanced Crafting Table.

Superheat Mode

Applying a redstone signal to the block will active superheat mode. While in this mode, the "Heat" meter on the GUI will start increasing. As it goes up, it will turn from green (0-99) to orange (100-399) to red (400+). When it goes near 500, the block will explode. If the heat is higher, the furnace will emit more particles if it is active. When the heat reaches 390 (off on GUI), the furnace will start emitting "cloud" particles (the particles that are produced when you combine water and lava, for example).

While superheat mode is active, the furnace will smelt items a lot faster than it normally does.

Bugs

• Because of removal of second output slot, some GUI elements are misaligned.
• The Adamant Furnace doesn't explode.

Trivia

• This is the only block in Telicraft to have an animated texture.
